It was an eventful day Monday at the NovaCare Complex in South Philly as the Eagles moved their attention toward the Bengals for Thursday night's game after Sunday's Super Bowl win at Tampa. Good news (I guess) coming out yesterday was that Michael Vick and Shady McCoy both passed their concussion tests and can begin practicing this week. Don't look for them to suit up any time soon, though.

Also, the Eagles worked out safety Chad Jones, a former New York Football Giant and a player who hasn't seen the field since 2010. That's because Jones was in a car accident and broke his left leg and hasn't been able to pass a physical since. He was released by the Giants this year, but he could be better than Nate Allen and Kurt Coleman. [via Reuben Frank of CSN Philly]
The Eagles also promoted full back/TE Emil Igwenagu to their roster from the practice squad yesterday. Brent Celek will miss Thursday night's game against the Bengals with a concussion, as Clay Harbor will get the start at tight end.
